Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation assists school districts in providing identification and intervention services for students with dyslexia, the Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation offers the following free services:

  • Ongoing teacher in-service training
  • Helping teachers to identify and work with students with dyslexia in the classroom
  • Workshops on testing for dyslexia
  • Dyslexia intervention materials developed by the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital

The response to these offerings has been very positive as schools search for ways to meet the special needs of students with dyslexia.

The Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation in-service training program gives priority to public school teachers who will be conducting identification and intervention activities in school systems across Alabama.
