The Teacher Hall of Fame located at Jacksonville State University has named the following as their 2013 inductees:

Elementary Division: Tracy Pruitt (left), Montana Street Academic School, Dothan City Schools

Middle School Division: Philip Jenkins (center), B.B. Comer Memorial School, Talladega County Schools

Secondary Division: Barbie Nelson (right), Northview High School, Dothan City Schools

The Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation would like to congratulate the newest members of the Teacher Hall of Fame. These teachers were selected from 5 nominees in each category and the competition was strong. The Alabama Scottish Rite Foundation proudly supports public education and has been a participant in the Teacher Hall of Fame from its beginning. The Alabama Scottish Rite sponsors the Alabama Teacher of the Year Program as well.
